Our Featured Foodie is David Scott Allen, a graphic arts designer whose alter ego is an extraordinary chef. David has largely confined his culinary talents to his own kitchen and to those of a few select friends, although his arm has been twisted (when it wasn't whisking!) to cater special events over the years. His style is "eclectic," he reports, "a lot of Mediterranean, some nouvelle, and strong influence of "what's-in-the-back-of-the-fridge." Currently, he is writing a book on the history of food with his partner, Mark Sammons.
