This is a very simple dessert that is perfect after a long meal.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place whole figs in a baking dish. Drizzle with honey or syrup and roast for about 15 minutes, until they are soft. Place halved figs on dessert plates with a tiny dollop of whipped cream and garnished with a small butter cookie, maybe a few walnuts.
